Saudi Arabia, August 10, 2017

There has been a positive feedback from trainees at the Otqen workshops and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) would initiate measures to develop the program’s next version.

TVTC Governor Dr. Ahmed Alfahaid made the remarks after visiting the Riyadh Technical College and the community training workshops (Otqen). The positive feedback, he said, reflects the program’s success.

Dr. Alfahaid said: “Today, I visited Riyadh Technical College and five workshops in different specializations, I am delighted and proud of the ambitious youth.”

“The visit was positive and all suggestions have been well taken that relates to increasing the number of courses,” he was cited as saying by Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The first phase of Otqen comprised six specializations, while the 2nd phase — which will have ended this week — comprised 16 technical and vocational specializations for male and female,” he added.

“Although we are in summer, the number of trainees was more than good. We are now in the last week of Otqen and we’re planning to take advantage of suggestions to improve the third phase,” he said.
