TVTC to train 100 Saudis in aircraft maintenance

Saudi Arabia, April 2, 2018

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) will provide specialized basic training to 50 Saudi students of the Ministry of National Guard at its International Aviation Technical College to work as mechanics of B1 fighters. It will also train another 50 Saudi students in the field of electronics to work with B2 fighters.

TVTC will provide remuneration for the trainees.

An agreement to this effect was signed with the Ministry of National Guard. The agreement was signed by TVTC Governor Dr. Ahmed Al-Fuhaid and chief of the military wing of the Ministry of National Guard Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Nahid.

The ministry will enroll 100 Saudi students who have completed TVTC training, in its military courses.

The Riyadh-based International Aviation Technical College is working in partnership with the Aviation Australia Riyadh College. This is part of a package of international training programs launched by TVTC in partnership with a number of international technical colleges.

The college provides two main programs: Civil aviation maintenance course, and the European Aviation Safety Agency program in mechanical engineering and aviation electronics.

The college offers training in the field of aircraft maintenance to provide students with practical experience so as to enable them to understand the complexities of maintenance and the exploration of aircraft systems, engines and aviation electronics.

TVTC has signed several agreements with government agencies to cooperate in the fields of training, technology and exchange of expertise, in addition to agreements in many areas, notably information technology, as well as to strengthen partnership with the private sector.
